Gleneagles Townhouse is situated in a prime location, just steps away from the train station and hop-on-hop-off bus routes, making city exploration convenient. Many guests appreciated the beautiful and spacious rooms, some featuring freestanding baths, while others particularly enjoyed afternoon tea at The Spence restaurant with its elegant decor and gold tea sets, with smoked salmon croissants cited as a highlight. The staff were excellent and tried to. I enjoyed the Lamplighters rooftop bar. The atmosphere was amazing. The Cosmopolitan cocktail was made the classic way and to perfection.
I noticed a charge for £25 on my credit card. There was no explanation about this. I had to phone and was told it was for me taking a tea caddy from the room, which I did NOT remove. The restaurant bumped my reservation.

The bathroom design was odd. It lacked a dressing table or mirror near a plug!!! also, there was only a single sink despite the room's large size.
